Carrillo`s Tortilleria in San Fernando

Great, great burritos. Piping hot, the salsa is a bit weak but it's pretty tasty and not overpowering. We ordered two burritos, the bacon and potato with sour cream and the egg and chorizo. Both came out nicely sized and super hot. The pineapple juice here is delicious just make sure to get plenty of ice in it. This is definitely our go to when when we are in the area.

The food is good but if you eat in there. Place is dirty. The walls hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Tables, floors...

FIRST TIME VISIT AND NOT MY LAST!! Visited relatives and they suggest this place for weekend breakfast. Great Pozole! Big bowls, and homemade tortillas. I wanted to try so much more!! But no room! ((: Their homemade salsa was good and everything displayed looked yummy! I'll be back!

Got thier carnitas and buche. Great homemade tortillas and salsa! The meat was fresh, juicy and deliscious!

After a gorgeous baptism I decided to take my parents for some traditional Hispanic breakfast. This place has been here in the San Fernando Valley since the 70's so it can be looked at as a landmark. The food was amazing and the service was fairly quick and friendly. They are up to date with the simple way of digital tap pay Samsung/ Apple pay. They have great fresh drinks, soda pop and beer. Check them out when you have a taco craving for freshly handmade tortillas. 😉

Asked for burrito de Chile Verde. The pork was very tasty. But could not find the sauce. Sprinkled it on like salt ad pepper.

All the food is great. Good price. Green salsa is my favorite. The menudo is amazing. Have yet to have a bag meal. Fast friendly and good price point.

Maneeee you better come hungry cause its huge and Gooooood :)

I sincerely love this place! Taco Tuesday and Thursdays rule! There's nothing there that I don't enjoy eatting. You can even grab a brew while you're there.

Carrillo's has great traditional Mexican food being served. Give moms a break & come to Carrillo's. Nothing like mom's, but the closest thing to her kitchen. Great menu selection of traditional bottled & fountain drinks. The prices are very reasonable. No canned tortillas here, just homemade.

Great little hidden Mexican restaurant. They have lots to choose from, not only to dine in but for take out as well. You can buy posole by the pot and masa to make your own tortillas. I had the chilaqules and chicharon... Both were really great. The salsas were also spicy and flavorful. Overall a great Mexican restaurant and market. I'll definitely be going back.

Chingon place to eat. Menudo sad good. So sad the Chicharones.

Great place to eat since 1980's and so many memories going as a kid til now! I have taken all my friends and they love it and watching the George Lopez Show represent Carrillos was a best feeling to me.

The food is amazing here! The people are very nice and helpful! And the tortillas... Man... Delicious! Local gem.

For a little out-of-the-way place in San Fernando their burrito, steak, was just excellent. I went there to get a dozen tamales and I have to go back and do it.the staff there was excellent and very helpful. What a wonderful find.

The best burritos Ive ever had! The tortillas are so fresh and the chile verde is delicious. Also try their breakfast burritos!

Service was bad bought menudo no tortillas or anything for it.

The one and only flaw in my otherwise awesome meal was a small piece of bone from the carnitas I ordered. The service was fast and friendly but more importantly my food was delicious. I will definitely be back for more!

We were looking forward to this place but this place is a bit of a hit and miss the chilaquiles weren't not as great as the last time. The tortilla texture was different chewy. The menudo this time was a bit bland.

Food & employees are great but it takes forever to place your order, even when they're not that busy.

I've been here quite a few times today was my sister's birthday so I took her to eat here cuz this is where she chose since she really likes the tacos here because I have a handmade tortillas the only bad thing is that it gets crowded and you can't find somewhere to sit at times as well as parking it's in a residential area so they're hardly is any parking

Hand made tortillas, Chile Verde is excellent and they have some of the best tamales in the Valle

the order we received was great. the chilaquiles with the green sauce was what we were suggested and it was delicious. we really plowed right through our tacos too. the highlight of the whole visit was the tortillas. other people in line literally came in just to purchase the tortillas by the bag. i will definitely come back and take further advantage of ordering something with more tortillas

Place is awesome the food is delicious! Some comments say how this place is always crowded we’re obviously a place as good as this will always be crowded! Place is small so get here early to find a table. If your inpatient then this place isn’t for you! Customer service is always great!

I have been coming here since the 70's.Its still good,but not as good as it use to be.Food quality has gone down.

Ordered the chilaquiles con chorizo plate. Wow! Flavoring on the chorizo was something else. I didn't ask, but I wouldn't doubt the chorizo is made there. Good size plate. Definitely worth what you pay for. You may have to wait. It was consistently busy. Highly recommend it.

Very elegant and accessible spot. They offer large meals and for affordable prices. I enjoyed the food a lot and the staff were very friendly and chatty. I recommend this place.

Been there meany times but the food is so good but the menudo is sooo goood

I was so happy that they were now open. Anything I ordered was always great. I was sadly disappointed by the quality of the food this time. I hope they will get back to their well known genuinely great tasting menu.

You know when I was a kid, my mom brought me here to eat all the time. Food had flavor and it was delicious. Now I noticed the corn tortillas aren't fresh anymore and meat is dry and tasteless. The tortillas back then were made by hand and were damn good. My recent meal here I had the number 1 combo. Beans were good. Rice was good. But the tacos I had were cold COLD!There's nothing worse then biting into a cold corn tortilla with cold meat. I hope they improve on their food quality.

1st time at Carrillo's! Excellent choice for a late breakfast burrito! You would never know this establishment is here in the heart of the City of San Fernando. All types of authentic dishes, including tamales, chorizo con juevo, chille relleno and much more! 5 stars is well deserved for delicious food, friendliness and cleanliness!
